Midtown modern is a new development above Bugis MRT Station and is linked to Guoco Midtown, which has 20 thematic gardens and landscaped public spaces spread over 3.2 hectares of land. It will redefine public space, enhance street life and provide residents with a more vibrant lifestyle experience.
The development is a joint venture between Guocoland and Hong Leong Holdings Limited and Hong Realty (Private). It is set to be the final piece of the jigsaw that is transforming this iconic Bugis area.
Located on the corner of Tan Quee Lan Street and Beach Road, Midtown Modern is surrounded by heritage shophouses that have been nicely refurbished. These have provided an excellent view point to the units, while also allowing for pocket views out to sea.
There are a wide variety of amenities nearby that will suit everyone’s needs, including supermarkets, retail malls and restaurants. In addition, Midtown Modern is within a few minutes’ walk to schools such as Stamford Primary School and Farrer Park Primary School.
In terms of layouts, the 3 Bedroom units are particularly generous, with a number of larger units being offered for those who would like to be in a more family friendly environment. This will be a great option for those looking to purchase a condo in this Bugis precinct.
The 2 Bedroom units here are also quite spacious, especially considering the fact that this is a development with a high density of residents. They have a dumbbell layout, which is my personal favourite for its space efficiency, and ceiling heights are also a tad above average for a residential unit of this size.
